A Giveaway!

I thought I'd get some of you to come out of the woodwork by hosting a giveaway. There are so many visitors to this blog, but relatively few comments. I'd love to get to know my mystery readers. Furthermore, I've been blogging for more than five years, and this will be my very first giveaway. I think it's about time!

Anyway, you will have to do a little work for it.

In the comments section, please indicate the date and time you think Michaela will be born, and be sure to include your name and town, if we're not already blogger buddies from way back. ;)

The lucky guesser will receive a $25 gift card to one of my favorite places to shop:

Now because my appointment with the perinatologist on Monday, April 11th may influence all of our perception of when Miss Michaela will make her debut, I'm only going to accept guesses for this giveaway through next Sunday, April 10th. Just to be clear that will be up until midnight Pacific Standard Time on April 10th.

    May 5th feels right....and labor almost always starts at in the evening or at night. So, I say she will arrive around 3-4am.

    (just an FYI) we stopped using our blogspot/google account long ago, and moved on to a different format that is not on your list of blogger scripts. It's very possible that some of your viewers have never used google/blogspot or any of the other formats, hence they can't comment, but just view. I think there's a way to open the comments to all formats, but I don't recall how to do it in blogspot editing. If you could do that, you might get more responses...yeah, this is coming from a girl who hardly ever gets responses to her blog posts any more, because nothing new goes on around our house...so yeah....I'm hardly the one to give advise on more responses..lol

    Although I would be thrilled to share my May 8 birthday with your Michaela, I believe her size and your discomfort may prompt the docs to stir the pot a little earlier. I'm going with April 26 at 1:15 PM

    Ok, although it would be neat if you had her on my 40th, april 27, I think something different...

    Easter morning! :) The best day of the year! 8:00 am. 7lbs 10 oz. I know that's on the small size but babies are often smaller than the docs think!

    For purely selfish reasons, I'm hoping for May 3 @ 8:30 am. I will be celebrating my half birthday that day. At my age, I realize that is ridiculous however, it is our family tradition!

    Isabel was 8 lbs., 15 oz., but I am guessing that Michaela will pass her up!

    Oh! TJ Maxx!! Another thing we have in common. Spring is a time of year with many memories and events in my family. Your original due date is my birthday, but I know your little girl is going to make her appearance before then! My son, Kyle, was born on Easter Sunday. This year his birthday falls on Easter again and he will be 11. I really want to go with that day, April 24th, because of all it signifies. However, I think she just might wait a tiny bit longer. So my official prediction is April 26th at 10:24 a.m. I am in Neenah, WI and you know, when she is born I am going to be here in WI jumping for joy! Hugs, Sarah

    Darn..I don't think my guess "took" the other day as it's not posted. My guess was May 8th at 2:07 a.m. May 8th was the day I made my First Holy Communion (Catholic) many years ago...so I'm hoping that that date is as much of a blessing to you as it has been to me!!

    I am going to say May 2nd (because it is my brother's birthday)
    AND let me say something about hiccups, because I see she has them a lot already. The crazy fixes never worked for us, when Bradley has the hiccups, we just rub his back OR give him a one ounce bottle, it stops it instantly. I am sure you are going to be not using bottles, but if you think about it and can't get anything else to work, that is working for us!

    Erin from Raleigh NC (I love TJ Maxx too!) On the poll, I guessed 40 weeks, however, I agree with a PP that your docs are likely to stir the pot a bit and so I think that you'll go into labor on 4/30, but she'll come on 5/1 by 9:27 pm. Here's hoping that she doesn't have to come by c-section.
