Time Out

I saw the OB this morning. After going over everything I've been through in the last couple of weeks, she was very concerned about my headache/head pains, and the fact that I've been on Tylenol as much as I have to deal with the pain. She prescribed something else to replace the Tylenol, decided to refer me to a neurologist to investigate the cause of the pain, and put me on a leave of absence from work. I'm not scheduled to return to work until the second week of January. She hoped that would be enough time to get to the root of my problem and treat it properly.

It's a relief to have work off my plate, because now it's time to focus on my health.

  2. I hope you are able to get to the root, sooner rather than later, and that relief is coming.

  3. Also hoping you will find relief and be able to end the pain sooner rather than later. I really liked the idea of people touching you and praying over you. You used to do that alot for Michael and it helped him.
My gosh girlie this pregnancy is really putting you threw the ringer. May sunny blue skies be just around the corner for you and Baby L.

  4. I'm so sorry that you're not able to fully enjoy this incredibly special time of your life (pregnancy). I hope they figure out what's going on and fix it quickly!

Pretty soon your belly will expand and you'll be in total awe of what is happening inside you. And you'll feel the baby kick and move and you'll spend the rest of your life vividly remembering what that felt like.

Sending love and cyber hugs to you! xoxo

  6. I am so glad that you have work off. You've been through too much too fast to try and keep it up. Now you can rest, gestate, grieve, celebrate and just be YOU!

I hope that just having some time off with no pressure relieves your illness.

  7. Glad that you're taking time to take care! Have you decided if you're going to find out the gender, and if so, when will that be?
